How many of you have keep cups? Does anyone have a keep bowl? I do!
I took an old takeaway bowl in an old plastic bag to my new favourite Chinese place down on Parramatta road in Broadway with a view to having them filling it up with (what turned out to be) the bestest beef 'n' black bean EVER! Anyway, I have a lady on the inside there so I appealed to her inner greenie and asked if she would do it and she said yes! A bit of a ruckus ensued when the chef worked out what was going on but my lady stuck to her guns and I walked away with my lunch and nothing else. No plastic box. No plastic fork. No wooden chopsticks. No crappy napkin.
And what a lunch it was...
For any of you in the Glebe area I have also asked Thai on Wok if they would do the same and they said yes although I haven't tried it out yet.
Does anybody else know of some places that let you BYO keep bowl? Do any of you BYP keep bowls? If so what do you use?
